History of Romance #3 - Wuthering Heights

1/5 stars - I hated this book. I can't even bring myself to sum it up. None of the characters had any redeeming qualities. The only HEA is that everyone died. The main character hangs a fucking puppy. And yes, I'm aware of the symbolism of dogs in this book and that the hanging of the puppy is symbolic of Isabella's loss of innocence and her strangled existence with her abusive husband. But Isabella saw him hang her puppy and still eloped with him so.

If you don't have to read this book for school, don't bother.
